# Bio
I am Chair of the [Department of Computer Science](https://www.pfw.edu/etcs/computer-science) at [Purdue University Fort Wayne](http://www.pfw.edu/) and Associate Professor of Information Systems. My research focuses on technology leadership and organizational transformation, examining how organizations successfully adopt and leverage emerging technologies.
I hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems and International Business, an M.S. in Information Technology, and undergraduate degrees in Finance and Computer Information Systems. My expertise spans database architecture, business intelligence, and strategic technology adoption, informed by both academic research and consulting work with organizations across multiple sectors.
As an educator, I've mentored students for over a decade through [[teaching experience]] and [[student collaborators|research collaborations]]. I'm passionate about preparing the next generation of technology leaders to think critically about the role of information systems in solving complex business challenges.
Beyond academia, I'm an avid photographer and runner who enjoys [[learning]] and meeting new people. I'm fluent in English and Spanish.
