<div class="kicker">PROFESSOR · CHAIR · PURDUE FORT WAYNE</div> # About Me ![[adolfo_coronado.png|122]] **Adolfo Coronado, Ph.D. (he/him/his)** *Chair* of the [Department of Computer Science](https://www.pfw.edu/etcs/computer-science) *Associate Professor* [Purdue University Fort Wayne](https://www.pfw.edu/) I serve as Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University Fort Wayne and as an Associate Professor of Information Systems. My research looks at technology leadership and how organizations adapt to and use new technologies. I have a Ph.D. in Information Systems and International Business, an M.S. in Information Technology, and undergraduate degrees in Finance and Computer Information Systems. My background includes database architecture, business intelligence, and helping organizations use technology more effectively, based on both research and consulting experience. As an educator, I've mentored students for over a decade through [[teaching experience]]and student research projects. I enjoy helping future technology leaders learn to think critically about how information systems can solve real business problems. Outside of work, I like photography, running, [[learning]], and meeting new people.
